2nd Annual Family Pumpkin Carving

For the past two years we have celebrated Grandma's birthday by carving pumpkins with the family. This year Cam couldn't care less about the pumpkins, but loved running around with the big girls and getting all the attention.

He's thrilled!

7 Month's Old

My sweet little girl has turned another month older.

You are completely crawling and you are fast as lightning. I have to watch you constantly or you will be gone. You love to explore and find new things to play with. You are obsessed with cords (your brother was not too happy when you chewed through his Wii sensor cable).
You are pulling up on everything and even standing on your own for a few seconds. I am not ready for you to walk, but you want to so bad. I think you want to play with your big brother. You are always watching him and want his attention.
You are a good eater and a great sleeper.
You are still in 6-9 month clothes and a size 4 diaper.
You haven't gotten any more teeth. Your Dad says you look like a bottle opener:). You are chewing on everything so perhaps you will have some more soon.
Your eyes have turned hazel like your Momma's but your hair still looks like it is going to be blonde like your Daddy's.

You are the sweetest little thing and I am lucky to be your Momma!

Gifted or What??

On Saturday, Kevin, Laura, Mia, Jeff, Heather, Austin, and Lily came to vist. While the guys watched the game, the kids used stickers to decorate pumpkins.
Mia and Austin had their pumpkins decorated perfectly (2 eyes, 1 nose, 1 mouth, 2 ears). Cam on the other hand, came up with this:

I know what you're thinking.....he's a genius:). Perhaps we need to review body parts again:).
We are carving the real ones next weekend. I can't wait to see what he wants that one to look like.

Horsin' Around

Just a few pictures from visiting GiGi this weekend. GiGi and Papa have been out of town for a couple of months on vacation (Matt and I do not consider trail riding out west a vacation, but to each their own:). It was good to see them and catch up.

I had a tennis match earlier and had to meet them at the farm (I usually try to shower before a family dinner:). At least Harper looks presentable.

Even Matt got on the horse. This will probably never happen again.

BFF's

Lauren and I have been friends since the 4th grade and this weekend our two little girls got the chance to start their life long friendship. I look forward to sleepovers, summer camps, and all the other adentures the two of them will share.

I think they are already sharing secrets
