He Has Risen!

He was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.
Romans 4:25

I love Easter! It is my favorite holiday because the meaning is so significant. The fact that Jesus died for my sins and rose from the dead is the most amazing thing. It is the basis of everything I believe.

Saturday night we got ready for a visit from the Easter Bunny. Carrots and water? Check! Note and baskets? Check! Baby powder by the door? Check!

Sunday morning we awoke to find confetti all over the bedrooms. Crazy Rabbit! We looked through our baskets and snuck a few treats then got ready for church.

Next we came home, took little naps, then got ready for the family to come over for our Easter celebrations.

Happy Easter!

Easter at Papa and Grandma's

We went to Matt's dad and stepmom's house on Saturday to celebrate Easter. The kids had a blast dyeing and hunting Easter eggs, playing with all the other kids, and eating all the yummy food. Cam will say his favorite part was all the candy Grandma snuck him:).

Ready for the eggs:)

how does this work?

now they are experts

he is off to hunt

Little Kickers

We signed up for a little 8 week soccer program at an in door soccer complex about 2 minutes from our house. It's a 45 minute period of basic drills and fun. Cam loves the water bottle he gets to take with him, I love the cute uniform that matches his pretty eyes, and Matt loves watching Cam play soccer. Win, Win, Win!

Big Boy Room

Cam was outgrowing his toddler bed so we decided he was ready for real furniture. This weekend, while he was visiting his Gigi, Matt and I put together his big boy room. He loves trucks, so when we saw this bedding at Target, we thought it was perfect for him. Cam agreed!
He has been sleeping in his bed for 2 nights without any problem. We didn't even have to put the shields up on the sides. So far, so good. Now, if we could just get him to sleep later than 6. Wishful thinking:)

Smile!

Cam went to the Dentist today for his first check up. He did such a good job. He talked to Mrs. Kim about all the instruments (Mr. Thirsty was his favorite), helped her clean his teeth , and picked out his new toothbrush (which happened to be a princess one). The dentist gave a good report and we all came home smiling!

I am so glad he loves to dentist (unlike his daddy who whines about having to go:).

Spring, where are you?

Spring is my favorite time of the year. I love all the flowers blooming and rain storms. I love the cool mornings and warm afternoons.
This year, it seems summer jumped right over spring. It has been so incredible warm for March. My children are enjoying being outside in the sunshine, but I miss my spring and I'm a little concerned what it will be like in July. Yikes!

Cam, enjoying the heated pool

Harper liked the bottled water better than the pool water:)

Aunt Laura gave Harper this cool water ball for her birthday. Both Cam and Harper had a blast playing in it.
