Strike.....

Harper went home with Aunt Laura for a few days to paint fingernails, work on her tan, and do lots of other girlie things. Since Matt is in California for business, Cam and I decided to make the most of our time together.
We have been to the library, ate ice cream before dinner, played legos till all the bad guys were defeated, and went bowling. It was Cam's first time and he did such a good job.

We have had a blast, but Cam is really missing his sister. He is such a good big brother!

Summer Fun!

I love being home for the summer with my babies. We have been quite busy in June, not really doing anything at all. We have been swimming, jumping, playing in the sprinkler, playing games, going to the beach, and lots of other fun things. We still have another month of fun to go:).

Happy Father's Day

We are so thankful everyday for your love, guidance, and silliness. You are the best daddy in the world and we so blessed to have you as part of our lives. We love you bunches!

My Big Boy

I cannot believe Cam will be starting pre-k in the fall. Where has the time gone?

We will miss Mrs. Dawn and all the wonderful teachers at John's Creek Christian next year. Not only did they teach my kiddo his ABC's, 123's, etc, they also taught him about Jesus and helped spark a love for God. For that, I am truly thankful!

Accident Prone:(

Poor Harper has had a rough couple of months....

First of all, She fell while running around like a wild women and her bottom teeth went straight through her skin right under her lip. Ouch! She needed a few stitches for that....

(sorry for the bath shot...it was the only one I took for some reason)

Next, Harper was playing at the ball field before Campbell's T-ball game and got pushed down by a little boy. It was a complete accident. We didn't think much about it. She was upset, but fell asleep on me, so we just passed off the tears as tired. After she woke up from her nap, we noticed she would not put any weight on her foot, so we took her up to Children's. After an X-Ray, we got the bad news that both bones in the lower left leg were broken. Yikes!
What made matters worse was this happened on her birthday. My poor girl had to skip her Catch Air party, so we celebrated at home:(.

Our Splinted Birthday Girl

Her Very Girlie Cast Mr. Hank put on for her. I think she had a little crush on him. She is still talking about him.

After 4 weeks we got to get rid of the cast and got a boot. She only had to wear it during the day when she was on her feet, but Harper decided that she would start jumping out of her bed when she had her cast on. Needless to say, she started sleeping in a toddler bed and wearing her boot full time:).

This little girl is going to turn all my hair gray before she is even in school:)

Happy Easter!

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead...1 Peter 1:3

Dying Easter Eggs the day before...

The Easter Bunny Came...
(it was raining Easter morning so the bunny improvised the egg hunt...we were very grateful!)

We spent Easter afternoon at Mark and Nickole's enjoying our family and the resurrection of our Lord and Savior!

On a side note, Mark's birthday fell on Easter this year. Another reason to celebrate and eat cake:) Happy Birthday!
