Foggy Traditions
Every Christmas my mom went to Hallmark and got each of us an ornament that symbolized something we were into that year. The only problem with that is my mom thought she would remember the story behind each one. After 5 children and 20 something Christmases, her memory became a little fuzzy. I started the same tradition with our kids when they were born and wanted to write their meaning down so I don't repeat history.
Cam's: His 1st Christmas he loved trains
His 2nd Christmas he was a little chunky monkey
His 3rd Christmas: Super Hero Obsessed!
This Christmas: Still Obsessed!
Harper's: Her 1st Christmas she looked just like a precious moments figureine
This Christmas she loves shoes!
Not the most interesting post, but will be helpful down the road.

Whoops!
I think Matt learned a very valuable lesson this year: Never let me go get the tree by myself.
As I was driving back from the farmer's market, I thought everyone was looking at me because of how beautiful my tree was. When I got home, I saw the same look they had on Matt's face. I smiled ear to ear and said, "I know, isn't it beautiful?" He answered with, "Oh My Goodness! How am I suppose to get that in the house? It's huge!" I guess it looked a lot smaller hanging with all the other trees outside.
I just turned up the Christmas music to drown out Matt's grunting and grumbling and it went up without a hitch. It is beautiful and smells delicious!
We still have lots of ornaments and the bow to add but I think it's coming along just fine. Hopefully taking it down after Christmas will be easier than putting it up!

My Drummer Boy
Cam's preschool performs The Christmas Story every year. It is the cutest thing ever! Cam was a drummer boy. My favorite part is when they sing, "Happy Birthday Jesus." It makes my heart smile!
We forgot the better lens for the camera, so this is the best we got of the performance.

Santa Fail
Ready to See Santa...
I don't think so!
We talked about Santa. We talked about going to visit him to tell him what we wanted for Christmas. We discussed that he is not a stranger and how nice he is. We thought we were o.k.
Then we got there. Cam would not get near him without me and Harper was a hot mess. Oh well... maybe next year.

Thankful
For the silliness that runs our lives!

So Girly!
Harper is such a girly girl and loves to walk around with her babies, fancy shoes, and jewelry. I have no idea where she gets this from: it's definitely not from me! Perhaps daddy?
I think so...
Has to sleep with her baby
Fixing Hair
Is this how every girl eats a Happy Meal?
